Which cookies we use, for what purpose, for how long, and how you can manage or reject them at any time.
I. What cookies are
A cookie is a file that is downloaded onto the user's device when accessing certain web pages. Cookies allow the site to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their device and, depending on the information they contain and the way the device is used, they can be used to recognise the user. Alongside cookies, there are other browser storage technologies (localStorage and sessionStorage) that this policy also covers for the sake of transparency.
II. IDO's stance on this website
We apply a minimalist and verifiable stance. On this site we do not install any cookies during your normal browsing. To make the website work we use exclusively technical storage within your own browser (localStorage and sessionStorage), which is exempt from consent because it is strictly necessary. To measure how the site is used in an anonymous and aggregated way we use a first-party, self-hosted analytics tool, Umami, which does not use cookies, does not create profiles, does not track across sites and does not share data with third parties, and which is only activated if you give us your consent. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural cookies, social media pixels, Google Analytics or Google AdSense on this site.
III. Types of cookies — general classification
In accordance with the guidance of the AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency), cookies are classified into the following categories. In the table in section IV we indicate which storage we actually use.
- Technical: necessary for browsing and the correct functioning of the site (session, state maintenance, load balancing, security).
- Personalisation: allow site features (language, browser type, regional settings) to be adapted to the user's preferences.
- Analysis or measurement: allow the number of users to be quantified and the statistical measurement of activity on the site to be carried out in order to improve the offering of products or services.
- Advertising: allow more efficient management of advertising spaces.
- Behavioural advertising: store information about users' behaviour in order to develop specific profiles for advertising purposes.
IV. Storage we actually use on
This site does not install cookies. The only storage we use is technical, first-party, and as follows:

V. Consent and how to withdraw it
Analytics is only activated after you accept it in the consent banner. Until you consent, no measurement tool is loaded. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time —with the same ease as you gave it— from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, which reopens the banner. When you withdraw consent, analytics stops loading immediately.
VI. Third-party tools
This site does not use third-party cookies or tracking services during your normal browsing. If at any point we were to integrate a third-party tool that requires the use of cookies (for example, an embedded video), we would tell you and it would only load after your consent.
VII. Management from your browser
Regardless of our banner, you can allow, block or delete this site's storage (cookies, localStorage and sessionStorage) through your browser settings. Below are links to the official documentation of the main browsers:

You can delete and block all of this site's storage, but some features —such as the continuity of the conversation with the assistant— could be affected.
IX. Changes to this policy
If we were to modify this policy — for example, by adding a new tool or changing a provider —, we would update the revision date shown at the beginning of the document. If the changes affected your prior consent, we would ask for your acceptance again.
